Ok, so I realize that I haven't updated my blog lately but here's what's been going on in my life lately!
I got a phone call a few weeks ago from a manger at Revenue Currency and Control at the Magic Kingdom. He told me that my resume caught his eye and it was made even more appealing by the fact that I am currently at DisneyWorld. He asked if instead of starting my professional internship in January if I would start now. I said yes!!!!! So, for the past few weeks I have been following through with all of the proper procedures, interviews and whatnot so that I can start this new job. I am officially starting on October the 6th!!!!!! :):):):):):):):)
Also, once I found out that this was a possibility my friend Beth and I started looking for a place to stay. We found this amazing house out in Kissimmee that we absolutely fell in love with. We put an offer in last week and were crossing our fingers about it. I got a phone call on Monday saying that we were approved for the house! We move in today!!!!!! I am so uber excited!
So, that's my life so far. Everything is going great! I love my life.

Grandparents Visit Me!
My grandparents were here for almost a week!! It was great!
It started with Sunday when I got off of work early and went out to dinner with my grandparents at Perkins. It was fun because I got to hang out and talk with them for about an hour.
Monday was slightly interesting. I worked in the morning training for opening GT at Casey's Corner and after I got off I went to the hotel to get my grandparents so we could go out to dinner at Don Pablo's. On the way out to dinner I realized that I had left my Disney ID and my Vista Way ID in my costume which I had returned to costuming when I left work. So I panicked and me and my grandparents drove back to West Clock to get it. I didn't get to eat dinner until 9 p.m. so I was trying very hard to not be grumpy. But my gramma was happy because she got to see the backside of Disney which my mom has never seen so gramma got to brag about it.
On Tuesday I worked late so that I could train for closing GT at Casey's so that morning I took my grandparents to Cast Connection so we could go shopping and after that we went to Barnes and Noble then out to lunch at Bahama Breeze, where I had never been before. Then I went to work and came home late.
Wednesday was a great day for the most part. We went to Animal Kingdom for half a day before going to Cirque du Soleil. Again, Gramma got to see things my mom hasn't seen before. This time it was the First Aid station at Animal Kingdom. An old lady in an electric wheelchair ran over my foot when I turned around because Gramma called me. The lady would have run over the back of my foot if I hasn't turned because she was going way too fast and following extremely close. So she ran over my foot and in her concern for me she reversed back over it. My foot is still bruised though not as bad as I thought it would be. We went to first aid to get ice and they told me I had to keep the ice on it for 20 minutes. We watched the Festival of the Lion King with me in a wheelchair for the first time in my life. It was very odd for my grandparents to be the ones pushing me in the wheelchair so that I could keep my iced foot elevated so that it wouldn't swell.
That night we went to Cirque du Soleil and Grandpa got to be a star of the show. The show was amazing and at one point they pull someone out of the crowd to replace a clown and Grandpa got to be that person! It was so funny Gramma and I were crying we were laughing so hard. The clown that Grandpa replaced came and sat next to me with Grandpa's camera (which he had been very concerned about being Grandpa) and the clown clung to me with his arms and a leg wrapped around me. Made me and Gramma laugh even harder.
Thursday was fantastic! We went to Magic Kingdom all day. It started with a character breakfast at the Crystal Palace. On the tram over we met 2 little girls and their parents. One of the little girls was named Laurel and Gramma got all excited because I was Laurel. Only I informed her that I was Laurel's daughter, not Laurel herself. It was still fun.
The character breakfast was wonderful. Great food and we got to meet Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore and Tigger. After that we went on all the rides and saw all the shows that I wanted us to do. And we did it all before 2 with some extra rides thrown in! We didn't wait more than 10 minutes for anything. It was fabulous!! Then we watched the 3 o'clock parade before going home for naps. We went out to dinner at Qdoba, a Chipotle like store near my apartment, and then we went back to the park to watch the night parade and the fireworks.
That concludes my week with my grandparents. Pictures will follow soon. Byes!!
